The 8th Grade Cedar Creek Eagles take the pitch for Game 2 of the Bastrop ISD Soccer Tournament! Coming off a massive victory in Game 1, the Eagles entered this matchup against the Giddings Buffaloes with high energy and momentum. Despite a windy and wet afternoon at Bastrop Middle School, Cedar Creek dominated possession for the majority of the match, keeping the pressure high and firing off multiple shots on goal. Unfortunately, the back of the net proved elusive. While the Eagles controlled the pace, a late-game penalty kick in the second half changed the complexion of the match. The Buffaloes were able to capitalize on the opportunity, scoring the lone goal and holding on for a narrow victory.
